The Constant Reader

If you love to read, then the novels in THE OSGOODE TRILOGY and THE TRILOGY OF REMEMBRANCE just might be for you.

In 2005, I stood in a book store with a copy of my first novel, Conduct in Question, in hand. The audience was small [maybe fifteen]. The thought in my mind? I need a bigger platform.Contest, books, novels, blog tour, Amazon Gift Card, The Osgoode Trilogy, The Trilogy of Remembrance.

Now that ten years have passed, writers—really all artists—do have bigger platforms on the web. But we still have to figure out how to communicate with potential readers through all the social media tools. The question is—how to reach people who might be interested? So let’s give it a try!

Some call it contemplative literature.

Osggoode Hall

 The Osgoode Trilogy

If the world of law appeals, you might take a look at Conduct in Question, Final Paradox and A Trial of One, which were inspired by my many years of law practice. There you will meet Harry Jenkins, Toronto lawyer who finds love, forgiveness and compassion in world of murder, fraud and deceit.

Alexander Wainwright

  The Trilogy of Remembrance

I invented a character, Alexander Wainwright, Britain’s finest landscape painter. He is eager to explore the art world and certain themes such as—what sort of universe is this—random or ordered? A paradox—how can the very best and worst of humankind thrive in one man’s breast? And love—can it be so strong that it survives life and death? Read The Drawing Lesson, The Fate of Pryde and most recently, Night Crossing for some thoughts on these questions.

Just How am I celebrating you may ask? With a Blog Tour and a $200 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway!

Blog Tour Details

On Tuesday, August 25th,  I’m starting a blog tour. What is that? It’s an on line event best compared to a progressive dinner. You go to Alexander’s house for wine and appetizers, on to Rinaldo’s for the main course and then somewhere else for dessert. But instead of that, you go to one blog site after another in which different aspects of the author’s work are being featured. We’ve got ten or twelve blog hosts in the party, so you may have a long day [or night].

Radio Show!

A special highlight on the tour will be a live radio interview, Tuesday, August 25 a 1 pm EST, hosted by JD Holiday over. . .

Characters Gone Mad, from JD Holiday’s Blog  on the World Of Ink Network, BlogTalkRadio.

It sounds like a LOT of fun. I’ll be asked really interesting, speculative questions about my character, Alexander Wainwright who, of course, will be at my side.

The show will be live and you can call in with questions! It will also be available on demand afterwards.

The Blog “Dinner” Schedule

As I said, we will be moving from one blogger’s “house” to another. And you’re invited to come along on the 25th.  Here’s the  SCHEDULE for the tour.

The Contest for the Amazon $200 Gift Card

If you purchase any one novel in either of the two trilogies, you are eligible to enter into our celebration draw, for a $200.00 Amazon Gift Card. All you need to do is complete our entry form using the confirmation number from your purchase receipt. The Odds for winning are really great, as the span of our promotion reach is limited to the level of noise we can make using social media and the reach of our friends and followers.

Although the six novels can be purchased almost anywhere online, you might want to purchase right here from the carousel. It doesn’t matter if you are purchasing a print copy or a downloadable e-book. The proof of purchase from your receipt is what qualifies you to enter.

You don’t have to wait until Tuesday, the 25th of August to enter the giveaway contest. You can purchase now and enter the contest using our contest entry form.  (Click ).  Entries will be accepted until midnight EST, on August 31,2015. A winner will be announced from this blog on September 1st, 8 AM EST.

I do hope you’ll join us
